Assignment #1 - Scavenger Hunt

Something Funny (A Scooter Graveyard)

This by no means puts me near the ranks a Basho, but it's a Haiku of the moment
Standing in the snow
Wet salt stained shoes on my feet
Photographing trees

I learned first the when you take photos in florescent light everything turns yellow. When I was inside with my camera every picture I took turned yellow, or had this unnatural warm feel to it, and the appriture stayed open longer. When I made it outside, even though the inversion was bad, I was still able to get much better light.
When working in lightroom it was nice to see how increasing the black on an image that seemed dull when it comes to the colors made a big difference. The highlights were hard to work with, but I think I got them done successfully.
With making the images ugly, it wasn't possible, they were works of art, I couldn't do anything to make them ugly... wait I made some expressionistic slop out of them, I hope you stomached it well, I did, but that's because it was fun to screw up photos I took that were the best of what I did (yes, these are the best).
I did have fun with lightroom and hope to buy it in the near future.

And that is all.
